Families Forward

Families Forward is a nonprofit organization based in Orange County that seeks to help families in crisis who might be without a home. It was created in 1984 and in addition to their homeless prevention program they offer career coaching, food assistance and life-skills education classes. They have a success rate of helping about eighty percent of the families that come through their doors to transition from a crisis state to a stable financial situation. They might help someone get a job working with active ETFs or could assist parents in feeding their families in the worst of times. Here is a little bit more about this amazing organization.

While many programs are only able to offer short-term help to those in need, Families Forward is designed to prepare and educate families to help them build their own stable foundation. The career coaching service is not only meant to help those that are currently unemployed find work, but is also designed to help those that are not making enough to improve their earning potential. If someone is currently doing electronic manufacturing, for example, the program might help to train them to take on more responsibility and therefore make more money in that line of work.

Families Forward also offers transitional housing and a few seasonal programs that further diversify its services. They have twenty-six homes at their disposal for families that are trying to get back on their feet. This allows the parents to spend some time working with counselors and career specialists without worrying about rent and bankruptcy attorneys Southern California based. Their Back-to-School program offers school supplies to at-risk children and their Holiday program gives out holiday meals, Christmas trees, and even some small gifts.

The City of Irvine is a partner with this outstanding organization and together they offer local residents a variety of seminars and services at the Families Forward Resource Fair. Some of the services offered include health screenings, financial and housing consultations, legal advice, and career workshops. There are also many fun activities for the kids to participate in while their parents are taking in all of this information. Not only can you meet with experts that can help you get out of financial trouble but they may even be able to tell you a little about investing in things like silver bullion when you are more able to save for the future.

If you are experiencing hard times at home and could use some extra support than you should definitely take some time to visit your local Families Forward office. They could really help you turn your life around in a way that you might not even have imagined. You could wake up one morning down the road and discover that you could be your own boss or could pay for your child's university education.
